Kingston Server Premier Memory provides outstanding benefits. The first benefit is Locked Bill of Materials (BOM). Kingston’s Server Premier memory is also JEDEC compliant and fully locked on active components (DRAM and die revision, register, and register revision, PCB design).
The second benefit is Server Chipset Validation and manufacturer certifications. Tested to meet JEDEC specifications and validated on server chipset reference.
Platforms such as Intel and AMD, Kingston works with leading motherboard manufacturers to qualify Server Premier memory on their systems. In Addition, Kingston works with Advanced Validation Labs (AVL) to provide compatibility certification on Supermico Server Boards.
The third benefit is Product Change Notification (PCN). Server Premier Modules are built using the same components every time and include advanced PCN.
Lastly, High-quality Components ensure only premium, qualified, and tested DRAM chips are accepted.
In Addition to the full suite of tests Kingston Technology performs on its memory, every Kingston server module must pass Dynamic Burn-in testing. It’s a unique process designed to further screen out potentially defective modules before they are shipped.
All Kingston server memory comes with a lifetime warranty. Your customer’s written system warranty remains valid when using compatible components in the system which doesn’t affect original equipment.
Features such as end-to-end data path protection, namespace management, power loss protection (PLP) and telemetry monitoring. Capacities range from 960GB to 7.6TB1.
Kingston’s Data Centre DC1000B is a high-performance M.2 (2280) NVMe PCIe SSD using the latest Gen 3.0 x 4 PCIe interface with 64-layer 3D TLC NAND. DC1000B offers data centers a cost-effective boot drive solution and is an SSD designed for server use. The DC1000B is suited as an internal boot drive for use in high-volume rack-mount servers, as well as for use in purpose-built systems that require a high-performance M.2 SSD.
M.2 small physical size and high performance make it ideal for server use. Not all SSD are created equal and using a client SSD in a server application may result in poor, inconsistent performance.
DC1000B is designed with added endurance (0.5 DWPD for 5 years) to handle the OS workload as well as the extra write workload of caching and data logging. In addition to being developed for long-term reliability, the DC1000B is designed to deliver enterprise-level performance consistency and low latency. Available in 240GB and 480GB capacities.
Kingston’s Data Centre 500 Series of Solid-State Drives (DC500R / DC500M) are high-performance 6Gbps SATA SSDs that use the latest 3D TLC NAND, designed for read-centric and mixed-use server workloads. Capacities from 480GB, 960GB, 1.92TB, 3.84TB.
DC500R is a highly optimised SSD designed for read-centric workloads, enabling data centres to select SSDs tailored for workloads without overspending on more expensive write-intensive SSDs. Also responsible for serving large amounts of data and delivering responsive results from a variety of databases and web-based applications which can leverage the receptive performance of the DC500R.
DC500M is a powerful SSD designed for mixed-use workload applications. It delivers greater write endurance over a wide range of workloads while maintaining strict performance. Data centres that host databases and various web-based applications can leverage the predictable I/O and latency performance while controlling infrastructure costs.
The DC500 series SSDs incorporate end-to-end data path protection to help guarantee that all user data transferred into the SSD is protected against transient errors. The DC500R and DC500M both include on-board power-loss protection (PLP) via power capacitors and firmware. This ensures data-in-flight is written to the NAND Flash memory in the event of unexpected power loss. Additionally, PLP ensures that the drive’s mapping table (FTL) is updated prior to power being removed from the drive. These power loss safeguards reduce the chance of data loss and ensure that the drive will successfully re-initialize on the next power-up of the system.
The DC500 Series delivers on Quality of Service (2, 3, 4) with consistency, predictability of latency and IOPS (IOs per Second) performance while servicing balanced read and write workloads. Ideal for web server applications that require read-centric drives or mixed-use intensive workloads.
